Helping patients to achieve a successful pregnancy.

Statistics

The reporting of statistics is a more complicated affair than may appear to the casual observer. Terms such a pregnancy rates, implantation rates, clinical pregnancy rates, results per cycle started, per embryo transfer, etc are all confusing to the average person.

Maternal age, previous IVF attempts, number of embryos transferred and many other factors all make meaningful interpretation of results more difficult for patients.

In the interests of transparency, a steering committee of our governing body, the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), has recommended that all clinics rather post the collective audited results accumulated from all Canadian clinics, to give our patients a fair overview.

Please be advised however, that these statistics may not accurately reflect the outcomes at our clinic, nor may they reflect your particular chances for success.

Your estimated chance of success with treatment will be individualized and explained once you have had a consultation at our clinic.

The most important statistic is the live birth rate. Obviously these take time to collect, audit and review.

Below you will find the 2012 CFAS published results from all Canadian centres
