The VFC is a small, personalized, yet modern centre where a holistic approach is taken to fertility care.
Our Clinic
The Victoria Fertility centre was established in 2003 - and we completed our first IVF cycle in the Spring, with our first baby born in January 2004.Since that time VFC has undergone a series of renovations and expansions to both accommodate the growing number of people we see and also to update the ever improving technologies needed to successfully treat our patients. The suite has been custom-designed to provide a friendly, ergonomic space for our patients and staff. We have a sophisticated ventilation system equipped with high tech carbon filters to eliminate all possible external contaminants that could in any way damage our embryos. Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment so as to provide optimum control of the environment for handling our eggs and embryos.
We only use the highest quality products for sperm preparation, egg retrieval, and embryo culture all of which are approved for human use by government regulatory authorities.
Victoria, Our City
Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia, is a beautiful, friendly city located on Vancouver Island, just 2-1/2 hours by car & ferry from Vancouver. Victoria is easily accessible by direct flights from most centres in Western Canada or by ferries from either Tsawwassen or Horseshoe Bay terminals in Vancouver or from Anacortes or Port Angeles in Washington state (USA). For many, Victoria is a more comfortable, affordable, relaxing destination than larger cities such as Vancouver.
